Hello and a very warm welcome. Thanks for stopping by and having a look at my blog. My name is Trish, but Patch is my crocheting, sewing, crafty alter-ego. I live in a 170 year old weavers cottage in the North of England with Mr P, our two boys, a cat, some fish and a hamster. I also work part-time in a local school. After the birth of my first child I felt like I had totally lost my way. I didn’t know who I was any more. Nine years later I am well on the road to re-discovery, but living in a house full of males I have to make a concerted effort to reclaim any girlyness for myself. Doing traditionally “girly” things is my way to do that. I have a passion for beautiful fabrics and yarns. And there’s nothing like a cup of coffee and a good piece of cake. This blog is about my life and all the things I make as I travel through it, the messes and mistakes (and there are lots of those!) but hopefully some successes too. I hope you’ll find something to interest you. So grab a coffee, sit down and enjoy.
